Future social_punchlines Table
Every punchline above is shaped as one row in the future Supabase table. The schema is forward-compatible with the social-publishing scheduler and platform integrations.
The page above reads from lib/punchlines.js today. When the social_punchlines Supabase table is provisioned, the page will read from it without UI changes.
Social Publishing Integration Roadmap
No live posting is wired up in this version. The roadmap below sequences the integration work required before automation can be enabled responsibly.
- 1. Create or confirm official social accounts (Facebook Page, Instagram Business, LinkedIn Page, X, YouTube, TikTok, WhatsApp Channel, Telegram Channel).
- 2. Convert Instagram to Business or Creator and connect it to the Facebook Page.
- 3. Create a Meta Developer App for Facebook and Instagram publishing.
- 4. Create a LinkedIn Developer App for organization page publishing.
- 5. Create an X Developer project if X posting is required.
- 6. Create YouTube channel permissions for the Community / Shorts workflow.
- 7. Review TikTok API requirements and onboarding restrictions.
- 8. Store platform tokens securely in Vercel environment variables — server-side only.
- 9. Add a scheduled job or cron to assign punchlines to days according to the 30/60/90 calendar.
- 10. Add an approval workflow so no punchline is published without organizer review.
- 11. Log every published_url back into the social_punchlines row for reconciliation.
- 12. Never publish automatically without organizer approval until end-to-end testing is complete and platform terms are confirmed.
Daily Parade Punchlines — FAQ
What is the Daily Parade Punchline campaign?
A coordinated daily social-media campaign that releases one short, powerful punchline message per day inviting organizations, families, youth, schools, cultural groups, immigrant and diaspora communities, Indigenous and Native communities, consulates, cultural attachés, sponsors, and community leaders to participate in the International Cultures–Immigrants Parade on Avenue of the Americas, Saturday, June 13, 2026.
Is the campaign posting automatically yet?
No. Punchlines are currently a foundation library — written, categorized, hashtagged, and ready for future scheduled publishing. Live posting to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, WhatsApp Channels, or Telegram Channels will be enabled only after platform credentials, organizer approval workflow, and reconciliation logging are in place.
Can my organization use these punchlines now?
Yes. Every punchline below is approved messaging that organizations, contingents, federations, schools, sponsors, and partners may use today on their own social channels with attribution to the International Cultures–Immigrants Parade and a link back to /parade or the relevant call-to-action page.
How are categories chosen?
Twelve categories cover the audiences and themes the Parade serves: Cultural Pride, Immigrant Contribution, Family Participation, Youth & Schools, National Contingents, Indigenous & Native Communities, Diaspora Unity, Consulates & Cultural Attachés, Sponsors, Passport to the World, Economic Empowerment, and Living Archive.
How does the 30/60/90-day calendar work?
The library is structured for a three-phase countdown to Saturday, June 13, 2026: T-90 to T-61 (Awareness, 1 post/day), T-60 to T-31 (Activation, 2 posts/day), T-30 to T-1 (Mobilization, 3 posts/day). The category mix shifts toward urgency and action as the Parade approaches.
Will posts go live without organizer review?
No. The future Social Publishing Integration Roadmap requires an approval workflow before any punchline is published. No automatic posting will occur without organizer approval until end-to-end testing is complete and platform terms are met.
