The National Participation Application is the primary pathway for nations and cities. Tell us which nation participates and which Nation's Representing City represents it. Support partners — ministries, consulates, tourism boards, chambers, sponsors — strengthen the application but do not require separate forms.

The strongest applications include support from national ministries, consulates, and city government. Add what you have — gaps can be coordinated later.

Tourism Boards (national, city, ministry), chambers of commerce, and cultural institutions are essential support partners — included inside the City Application, not as separate applications.

Each participating nation may submit up to five Star of Harmony Awards nominations. Nominees may include bridge-builders, cultural leaders, artists, institutions, educators, diplomats, public servants, or community leaders advancing intercultural understanding, immigrant dignity, human rights, peace, education, or positive relations among peoples.

Each selected city is expected to secure or bring a recognized Country Star.

As part of National City Showcase participation, the Nation's Representing City provides two around-the-world travel tickets as prizes (or equivalent international travel-experience awards) for certified Passport to the World traveler participants who complete qualifying pavilion visits. Fulfilled via tourism boards, airlines, sponsors, hotels, tour operators, travel agencies, chambers of commerce, or national partners.
