Your Chamber brings the businesses. MundusPASS gives them the network.
Together, you turn business relationships into measurable economic activity.
Chamber Business Activation Partner Pathway
Chambers of Commerce do not participate as standard S.E.E.D. Member Organizations. Instead, they may participate as Chamber Business Activation Partners by enrolling eligible merchants, professionals, restaurants, exporters, importers, service providers, and sponsors into the MundusPASS / S.E.E.D. network. This gives Chamber members a direct business opportunity while strengthening the benefit network for S.E.E.D. organizations and Passport to the World participants.
$5,000 Grant for Chambers That Enroll 10+ Merchants or Professionals.
A Chamber that enrolls 10 or more approved merchants or professionals into the MundusPASS / S.E.E.D. network may qualify to receive a $5,000 Chamber Business Activation Grant, subject to approval and partner agreement.
How B2B Meetings Are Organized
B2B meetings should be coordinated primarily through the participating nation's Consulate General, Permanent Mission / UN Mission, cultural attaché, commercial attaché, trade office, tourism board, chamber of commerce, and official city or national representatives.
These officials are essential because they know the businesses, exporters, importers, investors, tourism partners, institutions, and government contacts that should be invited. They can help organize meeting agendas, identify priority sectors, provide staff support, coordinate business delegations, and make sure meetings are professionally scheduled throughout Celebration week.
B2B sessions may take place inside or adjacent to the participating nation's pavilion, at an official partner venue, or at a designated business meeting location connected to the national pavilion.
The Celebration opens the door in New York City.
The nation's own diplomatic, cultural, and business representatives help bring the right people into the room.
Full-Week B2B Sessions During the Celebration
During International Cultures Celebration week, participating nations and selected cities may host a full schedule of B2B meetings, trade presentations, investor sessions, chamber-to-chamber exchanges, exporter/importer introductions, and business matchmaking inside or connected to their own national pavilion.
Each participating nation or city should designate a Business & Trade Meeting Area within its national pavilion or official partner venue.
Your pavilion is not only a cultural showcase.
It can also become your city's business room in New York City.
Can Chambers Nominate Cities Directly?
Yes. Chambers of Commerce may help nominate candidate cities, especially when working with tourism boards, S.E.E.D. Member Organizations, diaspora organizations, consulates, cultural attachés, commercial attachés, and official city or national representatives.
A city is stronger when its Chamber, cultural organizations, tourism leaders, business community,
and diaspora all help bring it forward.
Chamber Engagement — Frequently Asked Questions
Can Chambers participate if their city is not selected?
Yes. A Chamber does not need its city to be selected for the City Showcase in order to participate. Chambers may still engage their merchants, professionals, restaurants, exporters, importers, service providers, and sponsors into the MundusPASS / S.E.E.D. network. This strengthens the larger closed-loop economy and gives chamber members access to business visibility, member benefits, Passport to the World opportunities, and future Celebration participation.

How does Passport to the World follow-up work for business contacts?
During the Celebration, B2B participants can express interest through Passport to the World check-ins (business, trade, investment categories). After the Celebration, the Chamber and selected city receive a participation record with qualified follow-up contacts.
Are Chambers treated as S.E.E.D. Member Organizations?
No. Chambers are treated as Chamber Business Activation Partners. They enroll eligible merchants, professionals, and businesses into the MundusPASS / S.E.E.D. network and receive approved activation compensation — distinct from the S.E.E.D. Member Organization structure that applies to cultural, civic, faith-based, youth, immigrant, and community organizations.
